Adios! Be Back Soon...

Just a quick post to let you all know, I will be on holiday from the 19th til the 26th September! I will have no means of contact for a week, but will be responding to all comments, emails and inquiries as soon as I am back in the country. For now, here's a pic of my 'holiday nails' and a copy of my itinerary for all those interested...

I am off on my first ever cruise (yes, I gave in to my boyfriend's incessant nagging), and will have no means of contact for a full week. The thought of a week without WiFi is horrendous to me, but the thought of duty-free MAC and a spend-up in Sephora in Barcelona is getting me through!

Day 1: We are flying to Barcelona from London Gatwick. Thank God it's only a two hour flight, because I'm like a big kid on planes. 'Are we there yet?!'

Upon arrival in Barcelona, we plan to dump our bags at the hotel, freshen up and then head out for an early dinner. I'll then be heading over to Sephora (it's open til 10pm, score!), much to my boyfriend's dismay.

Day 2: We are heading down to the port in Barcelona during the early hours (well, early for me anyway). After boarding the ship (the Norwegian Epic), we will be settling into our cabin and preparing to set sail towards Cartagena.

Day 3: We will be stopping off in Cartagena, where I am sure we will do some exploring (that's my way of saying 'I have no idea what's in Cartagena, I've never really even heard of it')

Day 4: Hello Malaga! Our next stop will be a beach day, for sure. This is where the weather is meant to be the best along our route.

Day 5: Why hello, Portugal! We will be heading into Lisbon for lunch, and we plan to explore here, too.

Day 6 & 7: We will be at sea for two, straight days. I plan on sipping on as many all-inclusive cocktails as I can, lounging around the pools reading Holly Hagan and Charlotte Crosby's autobiographies (my fave type of reading material is trashy, okay?!) and taking the occasional trip down the on-board water slides.

Day 8: We will be sailing back into Southampton on Saturday morning... sigh. I've never been to Southampton though, and, if possible, will be taking the opportunity to look around a bit and maybe grab breakfast. That's it! After that, I'll be heading home to Essex.

I can't wait to tell you all about it when I'm home, and even share some holiday snaps with you. I have scheduled a post for while I'm away; it will be going live on Tuesday, as usual.

Adios amigos!

  2. A week without wifi might sound scary at first but just think of how relaxing it will be and the fact that you will get some proper bonding time with the other half! Hope you have a great time away and you enjoy all the beauty shopping x
