Lazy Lashes Review*

Back in July, I was lucky enough to work with OSI Cosmetics. As a fairly new company, they aim to provide their customers with high-quality makeup applicators and accessories which may be hard to come by or are overpriced on the market. They sent me these eyelashes as a little 'thank you' for working with them on the launch of their blog, which you can view here.

The lashes shown in the images are called 'wispy' and are 100% human hair. I was so excited to try these out, as I usually wear synthetic false lashes!

How I apply them:
I use two coats of my Seventeen Falsifeye HD! mascara to ensure my lashes are well separated and look closer in appearance to the false lashes. Once the mascara has set, I apply a thick layer of my favourite eyelash glue (Eye Fix in 'clear', 3 tubes for £1 from Savers) to the band of the eyelashes and hold them in a semi-circular shape until the glue goes slightly tacky. I then press them onto the center of my lash line and push the corners down. Finally, I use a further layer of mascara to bond the false lashes with my own.

Pros:
- I got tonnes of compliments whilst wearing these! A lot of people thought I had had individual lash extensions done. I agree, this is the look they create!
- The clear band gives a more natural look.
- They are cheaper than Eyelure lashes!

Cons:
- They are a little fiddly to apply, as the band is quite thin and they peel off the packaging straight rather than curved.
- Glue isn't included.
- Unfortunately, although they looked good, they irritated my eyes. I don't know if my eyes have just been particularly sensitive lately, or whether it's because I'm not used to wearing human hair lashes.

Where can you buy them?
You can buy these from OSI Cosmetics by clicking here. They come in a whole range of styles which are suitable for any occasion or desired look.

Here's a picture of me wearing the lashes, to show you how they look on:

Let me know, where do you normally buy your false lashes and which glue do you use?!

  7. Generally irritation comes from the lash glue and now the lashes themselves. Also, pro tip ;), if you find the band is coming too straight, grab a blending brush and curl the lashes around them for a few seconds!
