The Liebster Award!

Hello all! I have recently been nominated for the Liebster Award by My Happy Little Place. Thanks for the nomination lovely!

I still consider myself to be a bit of a newb in the blogosphere, so being nominated made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Aren't bloggers just lovely people?! The aim of the Liebster Award is to spread some love and awareness for bloggers with less than 200 followers. Yes, I know... I'm kinda breaking the rules over here, as I have slightly over that number, but this has been deemed acceptable by my nominator, so let's do this!

  • Guilty pleasures?
Hm... not too sure on this one. Singing Maroon 5 at the top of my lungs in the shower, while hoovering, while revising, while... you get the picture.
  • Favourite place?
Can I say my bed? Can I?! Sooo generic.
  • Who inspired you to start a blog?
That would be Charlie of CHRWRD. She gave me the little push I needed to get going. Definitely check her out!
  • Seaside, big city, countryside or mountains?
That's such a tough one! I'm from a seaside town, but study in central London, so I get the best of both worlds. I'm not sure I'd like it any other way to be honest!
  • Favourite drugstore products?
Definitely Maybelline's Fit Me! foundation and their cream 24 hour wear shadows. Also the whole Makeup Revolution range and MUA highlighters and lipliners.
  • First celebrity crush?
Cesc Fabregas! I had a huge poster of him on my bedroom wall, back in his Arsenal days. I'm not even a football fan haha! He was closely followed by Adam Levine.
  • What would you change in your life? I don't like this question! Life isn't for dwelling on. I'm so thankful for everything that I have.
  • Travelling in time or flying, what do you prefer to do?
I'm not sure I understand this question fully; am I being dim? If it means flying/driving then my answer would be flying. Living in the UK, flying is your only option if you want a real holiday!
  • Least favourite school subject?
My least favourite subject was always science. Unfortunately, I had to take two GCSE's in the bloody subject! They were my worst grades! Looking back, I wish I had enjoyed it more and studied harder. I think good grades in the sciences can really keep a lot of doors open for you when it comes to career options. I couldn't be a doctor, a nurse, a vet, or a pharmaceutical scientist even if I wanted to now, and that kinda sucks.
  • Favourite book(s)?
I never get the time to read anything other than law textbooks! Michael McIntyre's autobiography made me laugh until I cried though. I've also reread Can You Keep A Secret by Sophie Kinsella countless times. To Kill A Mockingbird will always be close to my heart, also.
Thanks again for my nomination! I had fun answering the questions I was set. Now it's my turn to nominate! I nominate the following blogs:

You're up girlies! It's your time to shine. Just repost with the following: the name of who nominated you (me, duh!) and their blog link, the Liebster Award banner or badge and your answers to the following ten questions:

1) What made you want to start blogging?
2) Is your follower count important to you?
3) What's your favourite film?
4) Are you a cat or dog person?
5) All-time favourite song?
6) Cosy night in or big night out on the town?
7) Full face of makeup or au naturelle?
8) Favourite skincare products?
9) Favourite foundation/s?
10) Favourite alcoholic beverage?

Don't forget to nominate between 5 and 11 other bloggers who have less than 200 followers and spread the love!

  2. My bed is definitely my favourite place although I spend way too little time in it haha! I remember the double science GSCE, what a pain that was! Oh and Adam Levine... Good choice!

  3. Lovely post, I'm sorry for the 7th question I didn't mean to make it sound like a spoiled girl whim. Who doesn't like Adam Levine, we're all in love haha
