Maple Holistics Shampoo + Conditioner Review*

There is no better feeling than clean, silky hair in general, but especially after a long day of sweating out on the London Underground! I go to uni with clean hair and what do I come home with? Greasy, knotted hair, that's what! Lately, I've been using the Aussie range, but it hasn't been working for me at all. Not all products work for everybody, unfortunately. I hate the smell that Aussie leaves in my hair once rinsed (kind of like wet dog, believe it or not) and it leaves it looking rather lacklustre. So I was excited to hear from Maple Holistics (click here to learn all about who they are and what they stand for!) when they asked me whether I would like to try some items from their hair care range!

Maple Holistics were kind enough to send me both the Natural Argan Oil Shampoo and the Silk18 Conditioner.

What the Company Says
"Argan shampoo introduces the ultimate haircare formula that provides maximum benefits with six of the most effective oils for hair and scalp health. This incredible synergy offers and abundance of valuable therapeutic effects. Exceptional and revolutionary, Argan shampoo is the perfect choice for those with general scalp types looking to enhance their hair and scalp health."
"Years of research have been dedicated to formulating a blend of conditioning agents which can maximise smooth hairness, have no potentially harmful additives, and be effective for all hair types. Silk18 Conditioner is the end result - an all-in-one conditioner which contains a perfectly balanced synergy of nature's most efficient conditioning ingredients to maximise moisture retention capacity for silky, flowing hair."
My Thoughts

Both of these products, in my opinion, are so much better that the Aussie equivalents! I wasn't overly keen on the scent of the shampoo (it smelt kind of clinical. Not strong, just plain and kind of 'meh'), but it did the job. It foams up nicely and you don't need too much of the product for a deep clean.

I'm in love with the Silk18 conditioner! The smell is so unique and absolutely gorgeous. I can still smell the gorgeous combination of scents eight hours after washing my hair! My hair feels unbelievably smooth and hydrated, and there is no build-up. I honestly cannot fault this product!

The only constructive feedback I will give to Maple Holistics is this: the packaging is plain and simple, which I like. However, all their products are vegan-friendly, and they should definitely promote this more on the packaging! The packaging seems to omit detail which could boost sales and interest in the products.

Have you ever tried any Maple Holistics products? What did you think?
