Lights by TENA Perfumery Event at the Haymarket Hotel*

On Sunday, 29th January 2017 I was lucky enough to attend Lights by TENA's #FeelFresh perfumery event at the Haymarket Hotel in London. I was absolutely blown away by the venue, the itinerary and the atmosphere. As per usual, the lovely ladies over at Myriad PR and TENA hosted a wonderful (and very 'Instagram-able') event. While it was lovely to catch up with some familiar faces, and some new ones, partake in a perfumery masterclass and stuff my face with chocolate covered strawberries which I am still dreaming of, the main reason we were there was to catch up on the Lights by TENA brand...

If you'd like to know more about my experience with bladder weakness, or bladder weakness in general, then feel free to browse these posts which I have previously written on the subject:

In short, I have suffered with urge incontinence all my life, and, through sharing my experiences online, I have struck up a relationship with one of the most fantastic ladies brands on the market.

Bladder weakness is more common than hayfever, yet it is still considered a taboo subject and many people are too embarrassed to discuss their concerns. Well, lights by TENA are working to abolish the taboo and doing a fantastic job. I had the opportunity to have an open discussion with four lovely ladies at the event, who all have their own experiences with the condition. It was so interesting to hear their stories!

As part of lights by TENA's new campaign 'Feel Fresh or It's Free!' they are offering a money back guarantee. If you pick up a pack of lights by TENA's fab liners and don't feel fresh as a daisy while wearing, the brand is offering a full refund by bank transfer. Want more info about the #FeelFresh money back guarantee? Head to the website by clicking here.

Whilst writing, I would like to say a massive 'thank you!' to Emmanuelle Moeglin, who led our perfumery masterclass. Emmanuelle is the founder of EPC (the experimental perfume club) and a professionally trained fragrance specialist with over 10 years experience working in the fragrance industry. Using her wealth of knowledge and passion for her work, she assisted us in designing and making own own fragrances. Mine consisted mainly of jasmine, bergamot and hedione compounds and I was surprised how much I liked the fragrance I had created!

I hope you enjoy these behind the scenes pics from the event. If you have any questions about bladder weakness, or would like to share your own experiences with the condition, please drop me a comment below!
