Overall, I was impressed with this foundation. I absolutely hated the original Infallible range, so was pleasantly surprised after giving this a go. I would say it provides more of a medium coverage, but is easily buildable and you can create full coverage with just a couple of layers. The texture of this is really lovely. It melts into the skin, doesn't clog my buffing brush up and sets with a powder like finish. I did find this broke up around my nose quite quickly and started to look patchy after just a couple of hours. I wasn't too impressed with the shade range. I went for the lightest shade in the range '9 Light Sand' and it still looks just a tad orange on me (for reference, I am NC15 in MAC, Light 43 in Kat Von D, Gobi in Nars, 0.5 in Urban Decay, Shell in Estee Lauder Double Wear...). In short, for a drugstore foundation, this is pretty good, but the foundation snob in me will still be reaching for the high-end options, which I find generally have a better shade range, better coverage and better lasting power.

Have you tried this foundation? Let me know what your thoughts on this are below!

  1. I am so gutted this only lasts four hours! That is nothing, great review! I love how you broke it down as well, thanks for sharing. Awesome post and Happy Pancake Day xxx

    1. I know! I didn't expect much, as I have never had much luck with drugstore foundations, other than Vichy Dermablend. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the review! Hope you had a fab pancake day xxx

  2. I love this speedy review, for me it was far to thick and went shiny but they tried! xx

    1. Thank you! Thought I'd cut to the chase haha! Yes, the formula is very thick! It actually fell off my buffing brush in one piece haha!xx

  3. I don't really go for full coverage foundations so will probably skip this. Loved the speedy review! xx

    1. The formula is very thick, so I would definitely avoid if you don't like full coverage! Thank you, glad you liked the review xx

  4. I really want to give this a try!

    xo, Liz

    1. Go for it! Take advantage of the 3 for 2 deals in Boots and Superdrug xx

  5. I have seen this foundation everywhere lately, but four hours really isn't great lasting power. What a shame. x

    1. It is everywhere at the moment! To be honest, I only purchased because I saw an Instagram post about the release haha! Nope, the lasting power isn't great, but I guess you get what you pay for x

  6. I really want to try this foundation as a love a good coverage! Shame about it only lasting 4 hours though, that's awful. X

    1. I know! I'd recommend Vichy Dermablend instead for a cheaper full coverage foundation, I have a review of that too if you fancy a read x
